Mt Vernon Baptist Church in Curry Alabama chose Thompson Sound of Trinity AL and Galaxy Audio in upgrading their sound system. Two CR12 Speakers were installed for the center and balcony coverage of the main sanctuary. Two CR15 speakers were installed for left and right fill on the lower portion of the sanctuary to provide full coverage for the seated congregation. A Galaxy Audio DS-SP24 2×4 digital signal processor was installed in the rack system for management of the complete sound system. Plans for a new sanctuary to be built in the coming years will re-purpose the Galaxy Audio components into the new system, expanding the life of the components.
