Technician
The concept behindĀ Alice Cooper’s pivotalĀ “Welcome to my Nightmare” masterpiece had nothing at allĀ to do withĀ having technical difficulties. Ā But let’s face it…beingĀ on the road constantly with a production as big as his DOES come with it’s own set of challenges. Ā What do guitars, basses, amps, speakers, and microphones all have in common? They are all connected by cables…..tons and tons of cables! Ā When you have that many cables to wrangle, aĀ lotĀ of things can go wrong. Ā If they’reĀ not properly maintained and kept after, theyĀ can easily becomeĀ a tech’s nightmare. Ā Because they want to avoid any of theseĀ technical difficulties, two of the peopleĀ Alice and his band have come toĀ rely heavilyĀ upon areĀ veteranĀ technicians Brian Sateia and Ron Hurd….bothĀ shown hereĀ left to right, respectively. Ā And they rely on our JIB/CT Cable Tester and CPTS Cricket Polarity Tester to insure thatĀ there are no on stage “surprises”…other than the ones coming from Alice, of course!Ā Ā Although Brian serves as one of the band’s guitar techs and Ron serves as one ofĀ the band’s audio engineers,Ā both agree that they “mostĀ appreciate the flexibility the devices offer connectivity wise”. Ā Thanks for the support, guys!
