TEC was established in January 1986. The business, originally named Technical Audio Systems, specialized in sound, intercom, paging and BGM (background music) system installation and service. As the business grew the name was changed to Total Electronics Contracting, Inc to better reflect design capabilities and installation practices. Today, TEC provides system design, installation, and service of electronics systems including a broad range of security systems, access control systems, closed circuit TV systems, emergency evacuation systems, fire alarms, telephone and intercom communications systems, sound reinforcement systems, video presentation and distribution systems, structured wiring (data, voice, copper and fiber optics), and life safety products and services. At TEC we design, install, and service electronics systems for all types of business customers, churches, schools, government, and individuals. Our goal is to provide well designed electronic system solutions along with a level of customer service one would expect from one of the four state area’s premier low voltage electronics contractor.
